A 38m by 38mm Bright Red 8×8 dot matrix LED display. These modules are fun to play and tinker with. With their large number of LEDs you can display almost anything.

An 8×8  dot matrix is an LED display with 64 LEDs that is 8 columns and 8 rows of LED’s

With the display in a grid of 8 rows and 8 columns, you will need a multiplexer to control it. We suggest using:

–  74HC595 or

– MAX7219

– Single colour ultra bright red display

 – 38mm by 38mm by 8mm dimensions

 – Black face colour

 – 2.1V – 2.5 V forward voltage

 – 20mA forward current
